Invitation to 2026 Beihang International Summer School (BISS)

Within the framework of the Scientific Cooperation Agreement between Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and Beihang University of China, the International Relations Department of AUTh would like to inform you about the 2026 Beihang International Summer School (BISS). The program will take place at the Hangzhou International Campus, serving as a premier
platform for global academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of science and technology.

The program is open to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as researchers. It is particularly relevant for students in the fields of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Informatics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Spatial Planning and Development, Medicine and Pharmacy. The summer school
will be held from July 13 to July 26, 2026 (Registration Day: July 12) and features 17 STEM programs. The first week focuses on intensive academic activities (lectures, labs, seminars), while the second week offers a cultural immersion program with visits to world heritage sites in Hangzhou.

Beihang University fully covers accommodation and meals for all international participants during their stay at the Hangzhou International Campus. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip airfare, international travel insurance, and personal expenses.

The application deadline is May 30, 2026. Participants requiring a visa for China must inform the BISS team by June 12, 2026, at the latest, to
ensure sufficient time for the processing of official invitation documents.
